Everyone Stay Calm, You Have Just Experienced Severe Tire Failure

Thanks, Hank. Yesterday I was heading to Bloomington when my front driver's side tire let go. When I heard the pop and weezing, my first thought was it was the engine, and was hoping it was only the fan belt. To my luck, it was (only) the tire. Ford includes a crappy bottle jack with its trucks, which I have had the misfortune of using before, so I have purchased a 2.5 ton floor jack that I keep in the bed of my truck in it's carrying case. This is the third tire to have sidewall failure on this truck, but the first to actually blow out. The other two have had a large knot, about the size of my fist, bulge out of the sidewall. I have caught them in time and had the tire replaced; this one put me on the curb for a while. Fortunately enough, these are Big-O tires, so all 3 have been replaced for free. When I take this one in, I am going to ask them (or yell at them) to go ahead and replace the 4th because I don't want to just wait for it to go out as well. In other news, I am going to have the Z3 M Coupe shipped from Florida to Louisville today.
