London

This weekend I went to London with Helen. She passed her CIMA exams and is now a certified accountant, similar to being a CPA in the US. She had to submit her files to get her certification letter, so we made a weekend trip out of it. We did a few of the things that I didn't get to do when my parents were here, like go see Wicked at the theater, go to the wax museum, and the London Dungeon. The dungeon ended with a ride that resulted in a vertical drop which was preceded by someone reading you your last rights as if to be hung. Helen had never been on a ride, much less a vertical drop, so as you can see, she wasn't really excited about plummeting. Nor was the guy sitting next to her.
We also went to the Texas Embassy, a Tex-Mex restaurant in the center of London. It was amazingly good. Generally the beef in the UK tastes horrible, but I almost think that they imported the beef from the US. They imported Lone Star beer from Texas, so it wouldn't surprise me.
