No TV


I got home to find that my tv box had frozen up. I thought a simple reboot woud do the trick, and as it booted up it hung at 52% of whatever it was trying to do (it says AP52 on the screen). So, I tried the ol' unplug and plug in after 10 minutes trick, and it still hung up at the same place.


So, it was time to call the experts. I called the help line, which before I could even do anything, was told "We're sorry, were incredibly busy at the moment, you might want to call us later, goodbye." No, I'll hold, oh, nevermind. . .


That makes for the worst customer service call ever. At least the guys in India for Dell will make the effort of answering the phone and faking a regional accent for you.

Dan: yes, but this morning it was working. Apparently, everyone with Virgin had the same problem.
