Shaguar!

U-P-G-R-A-Y-E-D-D, with two D's for a double dose of pimping. Today I picked up my new wheels, a black 2002 Jaguar X-Type Sport with a 2.5 liter V-6, complete with the sport leather seats, the chromed goodies, and of course, the Jag hood ornament. Those of you who were in the BMW knew that it wasn't in the best of conditions, but it was good enough to get me back and forth to London a few times. I was able to trade in the BMW for £1000, only £250 less than i bought it for, so that was a good deal. With that, I only had to pay £3000 for the car. An awesome upgrade. It drives like a dream. This is my first V-6 (I've had I's and H's, but never a V), first sedan, first Brit, and first all wheel drive. The advertised fuel economy is almost the same as the lighter, smaller, lower displacement BMW. Also, somehow despite being the same insurance group, the insurance is only £60/month. This was determined during my fight with my insurance company mentioned below. So, having a big black Jag is cost savings.

The car is immaculate. Its extremely clean, runs like a dream, hugs the roundabouts but floats down the freeway. It's got new Pirelli P6000 tires on it that probably cost more than my BMW. The sport seats have huge side bolsters that hug very well, but were extremely comfortable for the ride home.
