NMSU Graduation

A few weeks ago I was back to NMSU for my brother's and Raven's graduation. I guess that the basketball stadium, which is where i had my graduation, was beign remodled, so they had it on the football field. Also, since there is more seating capacity at the football stadium, they decided to have one ceremony instead of two, wich I had. So, the whole the ceremony was long as hell, and extremely hot. Most people, including Raven, walked across the stage, shook hands with some random people no one knows but are important to the school somehow, and then left. Of the roughly 1,300 people that graduated, only about 50 were left on the field by the end of the graduation.

Beyond the ceremony, the trip was nice. I got to hang out and drink with 3 generations of Rotsaerts. They all look the same, and aparently they have something against shoes. Raven's grandfather Jermaine (give me the right spelling when you read this) is very cool. Straight out the old country. It was an awesome experience.

I also got to drink with my brother, and pretty much everyone I knew from Silver City. This is a regular occurance for them, as they have a tight group from the ol days. Its nice to get to see them and catch up from time to time.
