The Lakes

About an hour west of Darlington is The Lake District. I've heard it was nice, but never ventured over there until today. It lived up to its name. I walked about 3 hours or so with Helen and Winston. Winston apparently thinks he's part sheep dog, he was really interested in trying to run off and chase the sheep. I managed to forget my camera, so I was stuck with photos from the blackberry, which arent great, but you get the idea. They're posted here. I think the weather was somewhere in the high 40's/low 50's. not great, but there were other people out walking around, and I'd imagine when its really nice weather the place gets packed.
