Ouch My Skin

Helen broke down and bought her own cross trainer since that's the only machine she uses at the gym. I told her that she should get a TV to go in front of it so that she could watch TV while she was on it and not have an excuse not to use it (she already had an unused rowing machine in the same room). This meant I got to spend Saturday TV shopping and this afternoon getting it up and running. We had bought an indoor antenna (you get about 45 channels over antenna in the UK) and tried that in the window. It worked a little, but it was pretty grainy. She already had a good antenna on her roof so I decided it would be best just to tie into that. So we returned the indoor antenna and got all the wire and fittings to split the signal and wire the spare room for TV. I got it all done except for fishing the wire through from the attic to the hole in the wall. We didn't have an extension cord to reach from the hallway, to the attic, and across to where I needed to drill down. The plan is to finish it off tomorrow. Her attic was lined with fiberglass insulation, hence the title of this blog.
