Snow

England has been under a winter storm since before Christmas, and frankly, they are ill-equipped to deal with it. Each city has a handful of grit spreaders, but they don't have plows on the front, or plows anywhere in general (except airports). So, they continue to lay sand on top of several inches of snow, which really doesn't do anything. And, the country is running out of salt and sand. They have stopped selling it to companies for their parking lots in order to ration it, making parking anywhere a mess because no one can see the lines and just leave their car wherever they want. The trains are stopping, the buses are getting stuck, its all you hear about on the news, its getting apocalyptic. A few more days of this and I'll be able to coast the snowboard to work. I've already seen a few news blips of people doing just that.
