Return of the 5.0

This March we will see the return of the 5.0 to the Mustang. This article goes into pretty good detail about the engine. I have already talked to Jeff about putting an LS-X in his Camaro, and I wouldn't mind putting a modern crate motor in a hot rod. I am really happy with the way my Mustang's engine is shaping up (just wish it was done) so somewhere down the line I might have to pick up another project for this sort of transplant. I have often complained that in terms of a repower, the modern Ford engines weren't that desirable (the 4.6L was big and way underpowered). However, I would just as soon put one of these in a '64 Fairlane as I would an LS3 in a Chevelle.
