How I (involuntarily) Stimulated the Economy

3/4 tank of diesel for F-250: $100

Scan F-250 for Codes: $40

Left bank fuel injector/glow plug harness for F-250: $90

Valve cover gasket for F-250: $80

50 gallon hot water heater: $240

Plumbing, propane torch, solder and flux to install hot water heater: $100

That's $50 more than ol' Bushie gave me. Damn this was an expensive week.

Oh, and to top it off, all of my engine machining, head assembly, etc is done. That's a 4 figure job I get to pay for tomorrow.

Remember in college when I would eat Ramen for a month to afford an intake manifold for my Mustang? I am feeling a bit nostalgic.

The writing's on the wall: time to start hocking body parts.

I can get you a totally sweet set of spinners for a human kidney.

At least you are getting out of it less in the hole than I am.

Turn switch lever :$100
Fuel pump: $100
Transmission: $1600
Fuel: now $4.32/gal regular w/ 15 mpg

I may have gotten a job finally, but my financial situation sure isn't improved.
