Walmart

When I got home, I found that my fridge had given out and there was water all over the floor from everything inside defrosting all day. I checked the outlets, etc but knew the electricity was working because the fridge light came on. So, I rushed to the closest thing we have to Walmart, ASDA (owned by Walmart) to buy some coolers to save my food in for the time being. No luck. Apparently they are "out of season" so they sent me to Halfords, which is a combination of Autozone, and the bike/outdoor section of Walmart. Again, no luck. The best they had was those little cooler/arm rest combos for you car. Perfect for the alcoholic on the go, but not enough space in them to help save the fridge. They send me to B&Q, which is like Home Depot, but without Tony Stewart paraphernalia. Again, no luck. So I went into Morrisons, which is like Albertsons, and bought a few plastic storage containers (for storing stuff under your bed) and 10 bags of ice. I rushed home to throw all my food in the containers, only to find when I got home that the fridge had kicked back on and was cooling.
Now, if I had a Walmart, I can guarantee I could've came home with coolers, and in half the time. I called my landlord and left her a message about the fridge, because I'm willing to bed its going to do this again. At least this time the thing is packed with ice, so it should stay cool for long when it happens. . . Or make a bigger puddle.
