Updates
Its been a busy week since returning from Vegas. While there, my brother and I caught The Amazing Johnathan as well as X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Both very much worth while. Oh, and Jeff got me a Snuggie for my birthday, after my hateful rant over them and their commercials when I was home over last Christmas. To top it off, it was wrapped in Hannah Montana wrapping paper, with a Barbi birthday card. All I'm saying is, paybacks are a b!tch.
I finished my project for this semester's Master's course. I am now 1 year away from finishing the degree. As great as that is, I have to start the summer semester in 2 weeks. Not much of a break. However, I am already contemplating getting the MBA next. Cummins has cut funding for new degree programs (I am still getting support since I was in mine before the cut) due to the current economic climate, but I think when they will pay for it again I am going to get on board. Also, with Chrysler filing for bankruptcy, shutting down plants, and in response Cummins shutting CMEP, laying off 610 workers and having to find new positions for about 80 engineers there, its important to be a stand-out employee.
In better news, the sell of my house closed on Friday. I had to take a loss on it, but considering the way the world is, I am lucky I got rid of it at all. One less thing to worry about.
