Mind the Swans

Last night I learned an interesting fact. The Queen owns all of the swans. It is illegal to harm a swan, because it is considered her property, and at one time swan was considered food for royalty.

Wikipedia says that they still have a swan upping to count and mark the swans.

So, when you come to visit, don't kick the swans.
