Correction, Ich Bin 812

The New Mexico area code swap didn't go as smoothly as one might hope. I ended up having 2 numbers, and only one would work at a time. If I called out on my phone, it would show up as 575. If someone tried to call me back on that number, they would get the standard "disconnected or is no longer in service" recording. So, people had to call back in on the 505. I essentially had a "send" number and a "receive" number. This, being a giant pain in the ass, lead me to getting a new Indiana number.

But, being a cell phone company, it wasn't that easy. First, I had to get off the Family Plan I was on with my brother. To do this, my Dad had to call in and release me from their contract. Then, i had to call in and setup my new contract. Once my personal contract was setup, I was the transferred to another department to get a new number. Once the number took affect, I was able to go in and get a new phone. That's a side note, my old phone died on me, and they wouldn't sell me a new one here because I was under contract with the Southwest region and needed a Midwest region line for the Midwest region store to help me. Same company, but whatever.

Now I have a new LG Chocolate, which is a really nice phone considering it was the cheapest one they had. I had to pay full price since I took over my contract in the middle and am not up for a new phone at the discounted price for another year. I think I can live with it until then.

PS. If you didn't get my new number, post on here or email me and I will send it to you.

Sliding phones for the win. Flip phones are for suckers.
