Fat Indiana

I havent blogged in a while, this seems to be a cyclical thing for me. But something happened today that made it worth while. The news has been running a series of shows based on the large population of "hoosiers" that are overweight. I haven't caught the program, but form the commerical spots, the basic story is that people eat poorly and dont exercise. Well, Indiana has a lot of hole-in-the-wall restraunts well known for thier greasy entrees. Today, I went to one such estabilishment and ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich. This is what I received. Note that there is hint of bun and lettuce sticking out form the under the slab of pork, and the otherside if the bun is not to be seen, not to mention the side of fries, and yes, coleslaw (the slaw was served before the meal, as if it was a salad, you can see from the remainder my pleasure with the bowl of mayo and lettuce.) Anyway, I cut the tenderloin and ate about 1/3 of it on the bun, and was stuffed. It was perfectly clear why people around here have a hard time seeing thier belt buckle.
