Dresden & Freiberg

The other week I got to go to Freiberg for work, which is a small mining community outside of Dresden, near the Czech border. There wasn't much in Freiberg, but Dresden was a beautiful city with lots of amazing architecture. A lot of it was rebuilt after WWII. I had one of the sales engineers showing me around, and she told me a lot about the history of everything. I took quite a few pictures in just a few hours.

Sweet! Dresden kicks ass--there's a bunch of stuff to see. Looks like you found the old town square where there's a stone marked with 'N' (for Napolean) ... or 'Z' (for Zorro).

The sandstone park outside the city is really astounding. But, I recall it takes a few hours by the time you get out there and get back.
